My name is Ahmad. I am 17 years old living in Gaza, Palestine. My family we are from Khan Yunis, specifically. We have been displaced more times than 30 times in the last 20 months, every time it’s to a safe zone, and every time our safe zone gets bombed. This is the second year of me not completing my studies and not having a bed to sleep in. My family consists of: my parents, my brothers Mohamed & Ismail, my 4 sisters Ward & her husband and 3 kids; Anghan & her husband and 2 kids, Badra & her husband and 3 kids, and Nour & her husband and 1 child.
We are so tired. 3 of my nieces and nephews were born in this genocide and all they’re ever experienced is the droids and lack of food. And displacement. Our home got bombed in Dec 2023 and we have moved from tent to streets. The last time we moved, was June 2025 to a safe zone called Mawasi. It’s not safe. We can’t afford to buy a tent anymore. We have no money, no food, nothing but our dignity left.
We never wanted to result to ask for people for money. We have always been the blessed family that had money and saved and traveled throughout Gaza. Now, we’re just another family needing help.
We’ve been eating food maybe once a week if they get it. Many times us men in the family will just give the food to the kids just so we don’t see them starve.
These conditions aren’t normal.
We have experienced war before in Gaza, never like this. Never to the point that we don’t know if we will live or not tomorrow.
Please help my family and I to survive in Gaza Palestine. If we had money to get out and the borders were open, we would leave, but we’re stuck here; barely living and barely breathing.
